When did you come up with the idea of MyGardenBag.com?

In 2010, Gordon Van Vliet, a Vancouver entrepreneur, founded MyGardenBag.com to make high-quality soil and landscape materials easier to order and deliver in bulk bags across the Lower Mainland. The company quickly grew to become on of the regions' leading bulk-bag distribution services. In May 2013, Dave Kiraly, owner of GroundWorks, acquired MyGardenBag.com and added it to a portfolio that includes GroundWorks Supply depots, GroundWorks Construction, and GroundWorks Snow Removal.

Why is MyGardenBag a good idea?

    It provides a clean, no-mess solution for purchasing landscaping products in cubic yard bags:

  • The convenience of using the product when you want.
  • Just close the top of the bag if you're done for the day, if you're tired, or if it’s raining. Work when you want to! Take all summer if you want.
