Straw bales can be used as mulch to add an insulating layer around plants, helping to maintain an optimal temperature so that frost causes no damage to your plants. Straw also retains moisture, providing a long-lasting supply of water during the summer months. Additionally, straw bales can be used as raised garden beds for growing vegetables and other plants. When decomposed, they can serve as an organic fertilizer for your garden. Plus, straw bales are not herbicide-treated, making them a safe choice for your garden.
