Traditional Douglas Fir composted and black colored bark mulch used for topdressing landscape planter beds or in and around shrubs.
Really nice well composted small mulch, easy to spread and not chunky (1" minus in size).
- Weed suppression and water retention during dry periods.
- Applied in sufficient layer (3-4 inches deep), it will prevent weed seeds from taking root.
- Composted mulch keeps soil cool and moist during hot periods and protects roots during frost.
- Size is "One inch minus". It's referred to in this manner because that's the size of the screen the mulch has to pass through when its being sorted. So this is a small fine (not chunky or nuggets) bark mulch.

Bit hard to get a shovel in to the bag as it keeps collapsing - not a deal breaker by any means.
Great Service
This product is of very good quality. The bag keeps everything dry even through the rain. We also love the fact that there is no mess, it is dropped where we want, no need to be present at the time of delivery and makes the job so much easier than getting dozens of bags from the store.
Yard looks lovely. Fun watching it being delivered and placed by the driveway.
I'm so pleased with how the garden looks now. Next year I'll order it earlier. Very pleased with prompt delivery and I like having it contained in the bag.
